You can use washable or permanent markers HOWEVER everything is designed to be colored by permanent markers. It is totally ok to color with CRAYOLA brand washable markers for a color and re-color project! Anything other than Crayola brand may leave a red or yellow stain behind after washing. When it does come time to give it a good wash, only wash if it is 30 days after you last colored so that the colors are nice and set into the textile. Watch the zipper so that it doesn’t make holes in your other clothing (this is common with washing zipper items with other clothing – not just my bags. I saw a tiktok about it!!)
